Gram Games, the Turkish company that has specialized in hit puzzle titles for smartphones and tablets, has had its games downloaded more than 75 million times. And now the company can add 2 million more downloads to that list, thanks to the launch of the Six! mobile game on iOS.
In a little more than a week, Gram Games’ free-to-play title Six! has hit a new milestone, making the company into a multi-hit survivor in the ultra-competitive $36 billion mobile game market.
Gram Games describes it as challenging, exciting, and infuriating, for one-minute bursts or hours of fun. In the game, you face a tower of variously shaped bricks, and upon them sits a hexagonal block. The object is to get the hexagon down the tower of blocks. The lower you get, the more points you get. To get the hexagon to move lower, you must tap blocks, removing them and freeing space for the hexagon to fall into.
But if the blocks are removed unevenly, the tower will lean and crumble. If the hexagon comes off either side, the game is over. The game has ads, but you can remove them by paying $4.

Gram Games formed in 2012, founded by Ecevit, a self-taught programmer, Kaan Karamanci, and Alpay Koralturk. Their philosophy was to learn continuously, be driven by data, hire the best people available to grow, and maintain their gamer roots in their corporate culture. Ecevit’s first job was as a shepherd. That was one of the ways he paid for his education.
Six! was launched on Friday August 26, and it cleared a million downloads on Monday, August 26. It was featured on the Apple App Store for its first day. Six! will be coming to Android in the next few weeks.
Mehmet Ecevit, CEO of Gram Games said in a statement, “We have learned a lot from our previous successes 1010! and Merged!, and with Six!, Gram Games is rapidly achieving its goal of becoming one of the best games publishers in the World. When everything comes together and we are able to show numbers like this after just four days, we are extremely proud, and just a little relieved. The team has worked so hard on this and they deserve the plaudits.’’
