LA, Orange County, San Diego startups: Get great feedback from VCs (and cocktails)

VentureBeat is bringing our DEMO roadshow to Southern California!

If you’re an entrepreneur with technology that is going to change the world and are thinking about launching your product soon, please join us for drinks and to get some feedback on your idea.

We’re looking for the best products to bring to DEMO in Palm Springs, Calif., and are traveling the world to find them.

Our first stop will be Santa Monica on Monday, December 13, where we’ll be teaming up with Greycroft Partners and Disney’s Steamboat Ventures. The following day, on Tuesday, December 14, we’ll be in Irvine with Rustic Canyon Partners at the offices of the law firm Greenberg Traurig. Finally, on Wednesday, December 15, we’ll be heading to San Diego (details coming tomorrow).

At each stop, we’ll be inviting up to 10 companies to present their new products or concepts in front of our team as well as venture partners from the partnering venture capital firms. Each company that is selected will be allotted at least a half-hour (20 minutes of presentation and 10 minutes feedback).

Each meetup will be a great opportunity to meet with myself (as executive producer, I’m in charge of selecting DEMO’s class of companies) and also to meet with partners from each of the VC firms in attendance

We’ve done this before at other firms, including Sequoia Capital, Benchmark, Kleiner Perkins, Madrona, and Austin Ventures as part of our worldwide quest to find the best entrepreneurs.

We’ll also be hosting cocktails at the end of the day on both Tuesday in Irvine, and Wednesday in San Diego. These casual cocktail parties are open to the wider tech community. Drinks will start flowing at 5:30pm and end at 8:30pm 7:00PM. We’ll end each event at 9:00PM.
