Microsoft has finally managed to get Sprint on board with its Lumia smartphones, announcing today that the Lumia 635 will be landing on a number of Sprint services, including pre-paid brands Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile from December 23.
This marks a significant milestone for Microsoft, as it now means it has all four major US networks selling Lumia — alongside AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile — as it looks to push the Windows Phone brand. Indeed, this is the first Windows Phone 8.1 device to land on Sprint at all.
