The Square Wallet, which links to a person’s debit or credit card, can be used to buy stuff (like coffee) by scanning a QR code at the register. Starbucks is offering the Square Wallet support in about 7,000 of its locations today.
The move is one of many that Starbucks has recently made with mobile payments service Square. Starbucks invested $25 million into Square back in August and has agreed to partner with the startup to improve the customer experience at its coffee shops.

Square, however, isn’t the only form of mobile payments Starbucks is accepting these days. The company also recently added integration to Apple’s digital wallet-like service Passbook.
