It’s fascinating to see Steve offstage. When he’s on, he’s got a rock star’s command of the room. Offstage, his voice is higher. He speaks more rapidly. And in this conversation, Mossberg is clearly in charge. Steve actually gets defensive about the battery life of the tablet for reading. “You’ll end up plugging it in,” he finally concludes.
