Digitsole

Digitsole wants to melt that cold winter dread away with the market’s first connected insole. More than a novelty, it has the capability of independently heating up each foot through a companion smartphone application, so you never have to worry about your toes feeling like they’re going to fall off. It multitasks as well, tracking your fitness throughout the day while warming your feet and boasting an advertised battery life between seven hours and a few days, depending on use.

Despite having over a month left to go on Kickstarter, Digitsole has already sailed past its goal. This is probably because, as winter approaches, Digitsole comes to the rescue of all those who have to travel long distances to work. Digitsole’s one drawback is that it’s only water-resistant, not waterproof. Let’s see how it holds up this winter.

CLEARsmile

CLEARsmile is an overall oral health product that keeps your mouth clean in one easy step. It uses power washing and a special solution to clean your mouth. A mouthpiece goes against the teeth and, when activated, the device uses pressure to clean the teeth and suction to pump the solution into the sink. The product is about the size of a Polaroid camera with tubes hanging out of it.

With hundreds of backers and counting, CLEARsmile is well past its campaign goal. Its success is no doubt due to the fact that the possibilities for CLEARsmile are endless. Not only will this product be a smash hit for parents trying to keep track of their children’s brushing habits, but also for the underprivileged and bed-ridden. All in all, CLEARsmile is a smart, relatively cheap and innovative way to keep your mouth clean.

ACE 1 No Smoke Stove

The Ace 1 No Smoke Stove takes the old Bunsen burner idea and gives it an eco-friendly twist. This ten pound cooking stove uses both bio mass and solar energy, so it burns cleaner to the point of eliminating smoke. Another nice feature is its speakers that provide dinner music for added ambience. And later on, campers won’t be left in the dark with the included solar chargeable LED light with built-in battery.

Still in the very beginning of its campaign, ACE 1 has already managed to raise about 30% of its goal. This product is proving how energy-efficient innovations largely enjoy success on crowdfunding Web sites.While there is no replacement for the savory taste that comes with grilling or roasting over an open flame, this product’s eco-friendly attitude and small conveniences will definitely delight campers and backers alike.
