Apple first announced the white iPhone 4 in June, 2010, but it only shipped the black model, offering no explanation except that it had manufacturing challenges. The company will sell the phones from its online store, Apple’s retail store, AT&T and Verizon Wireless stores, and selected Apple authorized resellers.

“The white iPhone 4 has finally arrived and it’s beautiful,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “We appreciate everyone who has waited patiently while we’ve worked to get every detail right.”
The phone is the same as the black iPhone 4 that went on sale last year. It will sell for $199 for a 16 gigabyte model and $299 for a 32-gigabyte model.
Apple will start selling the phone tomorrow in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Macau, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, UK and the U.S. More countries will be available soon.
