Instagram, that app Facebook bought for a billion or so dollars a while back, today debuted a new look. We should have seen this coming a mile away.
The app now sports a redesigned black-and-white look and a colorful, gradient-laden icon. The new design isn’t all that bad — it’s clean and bright and more forward-leaning than the company’s super retro icon that seemed to be inspired by Polaroid. You can’t ride the wave of nostalgia forever.
