Justin Hibbard, of Business Week, points us to a stealthy start-up called Machine Phase Systems, a ten-month Los Altos company founded by Michael Tanne, who previously founded software company Xdegrees, and co-founded AdForce, an Internet ad management company sold to CMGI. Hibbard says Machine Phase Systems raised $6.2 million from investors Greylock, PayPal founder Peter Thiel and others.
