Following the terrorist attacks in Paris yesterday, a new Chrome browser extension has emerged that automatically converts the word “terrorist” on the Web to “coward.”
The extension appeared yesterday in the Chrome Web Store. Now it’s on GitHub, and people want help making the tool work in languages other than English. So far it’s been ported to Portuguese.
“Terrorists are cowards. That is what they should be called,” states the description of the extension.
Chrome extensions for this sort of thing are not new. Last year someone made a Chrome extension that changes the word “millennials” into “pesky whipper snappers.” There is also PC2Respect, which replaces “political correctness” with “treating people with respect.”
