Apple CEO Tim Cook is auctioning off a coffee date with him that will last up to an hour via CharityBuzz, a company that asks notable people to auction their time off for a good cause.
Cook has attracted criticism for the precipitous fall of Apple’s stock price to about $400 versus more than $700 less than a year ago. That fall has mostly been attributed to Apple not launching new types of products and a lack of innovation.
Still, many folks would probably love to spend “30 minutes to an hour” with him to pick his brain about Apple and how he runs one of the largest tech companies in the world.

The coffee date can be for up to two people and will be at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, Calif. As of this writing, bidding is now at $42,375 after 25 bids and the “estimated value” of the date is $50,000. We’d expect the price will easily surpass the estimated value.
Bidding for the coffee date ends on May 14. Proceeds will go toward the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights.
