TodayTix announced yesterday that it closed a $9 million series B round to expand its on-demand service so you can buy last-minute theater tickets today (you know I had to).
Walden Venture Capital and TYLT Ventures co-led the investment. Both Walden managing director Art Berliner and TYLT cofounder Gerard Casale will join TodayTix’s board.
The New York-based startup says it “secures the best discounted and full price tickets available for the hottest shows.”
Serving six markets — New York City, London’s West End, the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Chicago — TodayTix wants to expand geographically and further invest in tech development.
