Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 7

Players will be jumping into Ghost Recon’s open-world mayhem next year.

During Ubisoft’s press briefing in front of the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo tradeshow, the French publisher announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands is coming March 7, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In Wildlands, you’re part of an elite spec ops team tasked with taking down El Sueño, a dangerous gang leader who has taken over the entire drug trade in Bolivia. Ghost Recon is one of Ubisoft’s key blockbuster series, helping the company remain a major player in the $99.6 billion worldwide game industry.

Lead game designer Dominic Butler of Ubisoft Paris said Wildlands’ Bolivia setting is the biggest open world Ubisoft has ever created. You can either play alone with computer-controlled teammates or with up to three other players via online cooperative multiplayer. Ubisoft demonstrated what four-player co-op looks like in a new lengthy trailer, where the Ghost Recon team had to extract one of El Sueño’s men, El Pozolero (aka The Stewmaker).
