Turtle Beach is preparing for the holidays by rolling out new products up and down its roster, and it has something in store for you console gamers.
The company’s premium Xbox One and PlayStation 4 wireless gaming headsets are getting a refresh with new features. Turtle Beach is also introducing its Streaming Mic designed to bring the best recorded-audio quality to people who broadcast directly from their consoles without using an PC hardware. The Stealth 520 for the PS4 is $130, and it comes with 7.1 DTS Surround Sound compatibility. The Stealth 420X+ is $150 and provides official support for wireless chat audio on Xbox One. Both headsets support Turtle Beach’s Superhuman Hearing feature to make enemy movements more audible. Both also last for 15-hours on one charge. The Stream Mic is $100 and works with consoles and PC. “We’re very excited about our latest lineup of high-quality gaming products entering the market for the holidays, beginning with the new Stealth 520 and Stealth 420X+,” Turtle Beach chief executive Juergen Stark said in a statement. “Our prior best-selling Stealth 500P and Stealth 420X headsets are two models we know gamers love, so we’ve significantly upgraded them with our signature Superhuman Hearing sound setting and additional new features to help players win even more.”

The Stealth 520 works with both the PS4 and the PS3. In addition to the surround sound, it comes with 50mm audio drivers, mic monitoring, and independent controls for the audio and the microphone. The 420X+ Also comes with mic-monitoring and includes a removable high-sensitivity microphone.
“We’re also excited to have TwitchCon right in our backyard in San Diego this year, and I can’t think of a better opportunity to introduce our new Stream Mic as well as show off the rest of our 2016 products,” Stark said.
This new microphone works with PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and it provides gamers with a way to send broadcast-quality audio to sites like Twitch and YouTube. It connects to those platforms over USB while also providing a built-in audio jack for microphone monitoring and game audio.
