Forget about first-person shooters. Here comes a first-person movie.

Twitch revealed today that it will show the first trailer for Hardcore Henry, an action move shot from the first-person perspective, on its site during a special two-hour streaming event on February 10 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Pacific. This is the first movie to debut its trailer on Twitch. Normally, people associate Twitch with the livestreaming of video games, but this movie’s clear inspiration from gaming makes it a nice fit for the site, which has more than 100 million viewers a month.

“We could not be more excited to introduce audiences to the trailer for this groundbreaking visceral film with our partner Twitch,” said Jack Pan, the president of marketing for STX Entertainment’s motion picture group, in a press release sent to GamesBeat. “We believe gamers will especially love the pace, energy, intensity, story, and unique first person perspective of Hardcore Henry. With a community of more than 100 million monthly users who love high-octane entertainment, Twitch is the perfect programming partner to launch this compelling new trailer for the movie.”

Hardcore Henry releases April 8 nationwide, with its premier happening at the famed SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. The film section of SXSW goes from March 11 to March 19.
