Twitch is playing one of those claw machine games — and it’s so frustrating

Those claw machines are impossible. You can line them up perfectly on the exact stuffed teddy bear that you want, but the mechanism never locks on with enough force. Now, imagine having to play that game with 150 other people.

This is Twitch Plays Claw Machine. This is the latest take on the Twitch Plays format, which started with Twitch Plays Pokémon and just got its own category today on the livestreaming video site today. For this channel, Twitch chatters can control a metal claw by typing a direction or up and down. Of course, the hivemind doesn’t always produce stellar results, and I don’t recommend watching if you are easily frustrated.
