Cover, maker of an Android lockscreen that displays apps based on what it thinks you need, just announced it has been acquired by Twitter.
With Google Now-like features, Cover displays different apps on your lockscreen depending on where you are. The company claims it “learns which apps you use most in each context.” More from Cover:

At work, your calendar and documents are at your fingertips. You can set a custom ringer volume and wallpaper for each location.
Cover shares that it will work with Twitter to make smartphones “a lot smarter — more useful and more contextual.” The startup, which launched in October, is an interesting purchase for Twitter; the social network has expressed little interest in productivity services in the past. The focal point of this acquisition, according to Cover’s announcement, is Android.
