Twitter today announced — in a tweet — that you can view a person’s Twitter bio on the Twitter website anytime you hover over the person’s avatar.

This is just the latest change Twitter has made to its consumer-facing service. Other recent tweaks include the disappearance of background images. Meanwhile, Twitter has also announced that it will increase the character limit from direct messages from 140 to 10,000.
