Twitter is retiring its mobile Discover and Activity features and focusing more on Trends in its latest update.

The new experience will move Trends to Twitter’s search page as well as add more information that gives context on a trend, like whether something is trending up or down.

Twitter has been making a lot of moves towards improving tweet and content discovery on its social network. The most recent manifestation of this effort is the launch of its Curator tool, which enables media outlets to put together relevant tweets to create stories.

Contextualized tweets build on tweet discovery by helping to lure people into a potential story, meme, or rumor.

For now, the updated “tailored trends” experience will only be available in English to users in the U.S.
