Today Vine released a slew of updates to Windows Phone users, including new editing functions, messaging capabilities, and loop counts.

Vine Windows

The update is available to all Vine users on Windows version 8.1.

Windows Phone users will now be able to pull video stored on their phone into Vine, as well as edit vines and save drafts of works in progress. The update also adds the Vine messenger, so users can privately message friends with their video clips. Finally, Windows users will now be able to see how many times a vine has been viewed through Vine’s “loop count” feature.

The update for Windows Phone comes with an improved activity feed design and the ability to add a background color to a user profile. Vine for Windows will also now alert Windows Phone users when they hit milestones, like when one of your vines goes viral, and notifications when your friends join the platform.

Vine first released this update to Android and iPhone users in August 2014.
