Twitter’s Vine has released an update that helps you discover new users and upload videos in HD — the trouble is, you might not even notice the difference in quality.

The new features launched yesterday, and a Vine blog post today briefly explains the changes. One of the surprises is that Viners can upload their videos in high definition by adjusting their settings under the tab “Your Content.” Vine, apparently like Instagram, realizes that people do care about high-quality content.

We were disappointed to find that after comparing two six-second videos, one uploaded in standard quality and the other in HD, we perceived little to no change — bummer. Maybe the feature needs some tweaking?
