The Open Gaming Alliance has a new leader to help chart a road ahead for game designers and publishers.
It announced that Wanda Meloni, a longtime industry veteran, as its new executive director. The Open Gaming Alliance is a nonprofit trade association of game industry hardware and software leaders that provides guidance in several facets of the business. Including recent initiatives focused on the VR/AR market and cloud gaming.
Wanda Meloni steps into the role with a long line of experience. She was the founder of the M2 Advisory Group, an entertainment and technology business consulting firm, and was the editor-in-chief of Game Business Review.
“Wanda’s industry knowledge, energy, and hard work has helped revitalize the OGA’s efforts as we evolve to better reflect all platforms, sectors, and business models that make up the game industry today, said Drew Johnston, president of Open Gaming Alliance.
