Launching your own business is a daunting task – and one that can make even the most confident entrepreneur doubt his or her skills. Mark Pincus, CEO and founder of Zynga, in this entrepreneur-though-leadership lecture given at Stanford University, says the skills he picked up in his previous role as a product manager have been the ones he has used the most in his current position. However, he cautions, the key to this on-the-job training is to move slowly and collect experience from several world-class companies before launching your own venture.
