Rock star Bruce Springsteen is currently livestreaming a conversation he’s having with Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of internet software and services, to commemorate Springsteen’s new book Born to Run. But the live video is available on Facebook — specifically on Springsteen’s Facebook page. It’s not available on Apple Music, Apple’s music streaming service that’s been getting more and more exclusive music and video.

Here’s an embed of the conversation:

Springsteen’s music and a few videos are on Apple Music. Perhaps this stream could show up there, too, once it’s finished.

Cue has been very involved with ramping Apple Music as it challenges competitors like Spotify, which is reportedly in talks to acquire SoundCloud. He was part of the announcement of Apple’s landing the “Carpool Karaoke” video series for the app. But he was also reportedly involved in negotiations with cable companies and channels that didn’t go well.

Cue told Springsteen he heard there was a new album coming out, and Springsteen said that it was a solo record and that it might come out before the end of the year. “On Apple Music,” Cue said, presumably proposing the launch idea to Springsteen. “Why not,” Springsteen said after laughing. (For all we know, Cue already discussed this with Springsteen previously, and Cue was just bringing it up to create buzz.)

Earlier in the conversation Cue also asked a more speculative question.

“Have you ever thought about starring in a movie?” Cue asked.

“Too late now, man,” Springsteen replied.

“I think you would be great at it,” Cue told him. “I think a lot of fans would love to see you, so I would highly encourage it.”
