This week on What to Think, we speak with tech entrepreneur Elissa Shevinsky.
Until recently, she was chief technology officer of messaging app startup Glimpse Labs — but as she told me and VentureBeat’s Dylan Tweney on the podcast this week, Glimpse has shut down. Now she’s working on JeKuDo Privacy Company, a new startup building privacy tools such as a group-messaging app.
Shevinsky told us about some of the challenges she ran into at Glimpse. She also talked about the forthcoming book Lean Out, an anthology of stories she’s been working on, and how women in technology and venture capital can deal with difficult situations.
