Lately, the world of Silicon Valley has provided plenty of material for comedy writers. The latest example was the launch yesterday of a new startup called Yo.

Yo is a messaging app that has one function: to say “Yo” to your friends and family members. So when comedian Stephen Colbert saw the news that Yo had raised a generous $1.2 million in funding and risen to the top of the free app charts, it was simply too good of an opportunity to pass up.
