Yelp today announced it is now available in Hong Kong, and in 29 countries total, following the company’s Japan debut earlier this year.

This news marks Yelp’s third major push into Asia, in addition to its 2012 Singapore launch. A Yelp spokesperson tells VentureBeat that the company also added Traditional Chinese to its list of supported languages today; Yelp now supports 16 languages in total.

Yelp vaguely stated in its official release that the restaurant reviews service “continues its growth across Asia with the launch in Hong Kong.”

Going forward, Yelp says it plans to “appoint a Community Manager whose role will be to build a local community of Yelpers in Hong Kong and embody its commitment to connecting people with great local businesses.” Yelp says its “free suite of business owner tools” is also now available to Hong Kong residents starting today.
