You can now use Apple Pay to buy a Pebble on Kickstarter (or a game at GameStop)

The crowdfunding site Kickstarter released a new version of its iPhone and iPad app today, and it includes support for Apple Pay payments.

The move comes one day after Apple held a big event in San Francisco hyping Apple Pay on the phone and on the Watch, and a week after the Pebble Time became the most funded project of all time on Kickstarter.

Here’s what it says on Kickstarter’s App Store page about version 2.3 of the app:

Apple Pay is now available for all US-based projects, for folks with the latest generation iPhone or iPad, and a major US credit or debit card. Just press to pledge!

And that pretty much says it. Until today, payment options on iPhones and iPads had been limited to credit or debit card payments. If you’re an iPhone or iPad user, making impulsive little investments on Kickstarter just became a more more impulsive, one-motion activity.

It gets even better. GameStop also said it will support Apple Pay payments from mobile devices to make purchases at the site.
