A wee bit about me: In order to get a little more touchy-feely with all of you fine people here on Bitmob, I guess I'll have to shell out some tidbits about myself. I've lived in the same area of South Carolina for my entire life, so naturally I'm very keen on the idea of a change of pace and moving to another part of the country when I'm out of college and on my feet.
I love music; I play the guitar, bass, french horn, and I have a small amount of piano experience. My favorite genres are ska and punk, but I'll give anything a try. I played bass in my high school's jazz band and currently play bass in a progressive thrash outfit named FUBAR, which I will plug in 3…2…1… www.youtube.com/fubarbandtv.
Reading and writing are hobbies of mine, too. I'm a huge fan of Orson Scott Card's Ender series. I'm looking to a career in journalism, hopefully in the video game industry, but I won't be too bummed if that doesn't work out as long as I can write to earn my keep. I feel lazy if I don't write something at least once a week.
Favorite video game? I'd have to say Fallout 3. I've spent around 60 hours with it and I still love it. I also like Mass Effect, the Metal Gear Solid series, and oddly enough, the Harvest Moon series. I'll be damned if I don't love to virtually harvest corn and shear sheep. :D Right now I'm trying to play some more of the classics; I'm playing Chrono Trigger first. Questions? Comments? Concerns?
