Way back in the early days of gaming’s career, the battle amongst systems was not only fierce, but their advertising schemes back then were filled with various aggressive summonings for gamers, which, I’m sure most of you are aware of:

While I do have an affinity for older gaming commercials, with all their rhyming, rapping and reason, it is the Christmas ads that stick close to my heart, as they were a bit more creative during this special time of year.

If the game was as epic as this commercial and the corresponding movie, perhaps E.T. wouldn’t be resting in a landfill desert in New Mexico.

Although not a commercial, if you’ve been around the gaming circuit and the Internet long enough, you’ve seen this classic Christmas clip before. I have yet to see ANYONE be this excited about any system, including the current gen consols.

I don’t even know where to go from here.
