Multiple sources including USA Today, Ars Technecia, Gama Sutra and every other gaming outlet are reporting that Bungie, creators of the Halo Series and Myth, has signed a 10 year publishing deal with Activision.
Microsoft has responded via CVG stating that their "relationship with Bungie has not changed."
Activision is commonly seen as the "evil empire" in gamer's eyes and recently lost a large portion of it's top developer, Infinity Ward, to Electronic Arts.
There is now a possibility that one of the gaming industries most popular franchises may be made for multiple platforms.
