A little over a month ago I wrote about whether WarioWare D.I.Y. was the game to finally get me to upgrade to a DSi XL from my sad, original DS Phat. You can read it here if you want.
The sad, original DS Phat in question.
To cut the suspense, I decided to get one. Look at it! It's pretty!
The shiny, new DSi XL in question.
So here's the deal: as you can see, I have quite the collection of games. If you can't read the cards in the image here's a list:
- Advance Wars: Days of Ruin
- Advance Wars: Dual Strike (better than Days of Ruin)
- Animal Crossing
- Chrono Trigger
- Final Fantasy 4 (never finished)
- Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (never started)
- Guitar Hero: On Tour (such a mistake)
- Henry Hatsworth
- Mario Kart DS
- Meteos
- Metroid Prime: Hunters
- Naruto: Path of the Ninja 1 and 2 (don't judge me)
- New Super Mario Bros.
- Ninja Town
- Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: And Justice For All (never finished)
- Pokemon Diamond (489 of those bitches caught!)
- Pokemon Soul Silver (decidedly fewer caught)
- Professor Layton and the Curious Village
- Retro Game Challenge
- Scribblenauts
- Sonic Chronicles: Dark Brotherhood (never finished)
- Sonic Rush
- Space Invaders Extreme
- Trauma Center: Under the Knife (never finished)
- WarioWare D.I.Y.
- Yoshi's Island DS (never finished)
There are six of those I've never finished. So should I go back and finish any of those or is there something I've missed? Spirit Tracks perhaps? Any game that really benefits from the extra screen real estate?
I love turn-based RPGs (not that Active Time Battle crap from the Final Fantasy series,) but with Dragon Quest 9 and Golden Sun DS on the horizon, I'm probably set in that genre.
I'm open to your suggestions.
