I might have mentioned Shadow of the Colossus a few times. It might very well be my favorite game ever. Like Rob Savillo and Demon's Souls, I have a lot of trouble shutting up about it (just kidding, Rob!). So, when I heard Frank Anderson mention on Twitter that had tried to beat the game almost a dozen times and always gave up, I knew the Backlog Brigade had to come to the rescue.

If you're unfamiliar with us, that's what we do: rescue poor gamers with pile's of shame that could rival the heights of Mount Everest. We swoop in and create a "time bubble" (time bubble technology is copyright, so back off!) around a group of players. Suddenly, that old game seems new again, and a whole group of gamers is playing along with you and talking about it like it had just come out that week.

Later, I collect a handful of the most interesting conversations and tweets, and compile them for public consumption. Just take a look at our past work on such forgotten gems as Eternal Darkness, and… uh, MadWorld. The latter is a better example of the format, but the former is a better game. Either way, you've got an idea, so let's jump into the rules for participation.

It's not all that complicated really. If you want to play along with us, then we need to make sure that we can all talk to each other. Share any and all information such as Twitter, AIM, Email, Google Chat, Google Wave, Facebook, etc. in the comments below. If you would prefer some of those things remain private, then email me at bloodstains85 [at] gmail [dot] com and I will pass it on to all the other participants directly, so that you don't have to post it publicly.

After that, you just need to talk, talk, and talk to the other participants as you play the game, and email me any conversations you might have. I'll edit a variety of them into the final post. But, please actually tweet and discuss the game with people. Last time I had to organize meeting times for conversations and it led to a lot of me in the final post. I'd like you all to contribute equally.

So, there you go. This is super easy to participate in. Just play the game and chat with everyone else. Volunteers?
