Top o' the morning, Mobbers!

Today is, sadly, the final day of Field Week – the brain child of Alex R. Cronk-Young and Cody Winn – and also the final day of Morning Cup of Mob — something I did all of Field Week! It's been fun and tiring, but it was worth it.

Enough sad talk, let's ride!

"I’m the Dude. So, that’s what you call me. You know, that, or his dudeness, or duder, or el duderino, if you’re not into the whole brevity thing."

The Dude

Day Five of Field Week

Well, here we are at the end of Field Week. That means I need to write something here…but I just can't think of what to write! I've barely had a chance to play any games lately, and yet I find myself making grand plans every day, of what I'm going to be playing every night.

But it doesn't work out that way. So it goes.

If I could pick one game to play, I think I'd love to try out the Halo: Reach beta. From everything I've heard, it's an absolute blast, and it even hearkens back to the old, Combat Evolved days.

I have fond memories of lugging a 100 pound (kid you not) television from my house to my neighbors so we could enjoy Halo with 16 players. It was fast, frenetic, and it usually lasted until my neighbors parents threw us out — you know, becasue we were being "too loud" or some nonsense.

I believe I've already posted about this very thing at some point, so I'll just stop right there.

Ah, the good old days.

Cup of Mob Challenge

All of you guys have been great with your responses. I've really enjoyed reading all of 'em.

Today, instead of giving you a real challenge, I figured it would nice if all of you talked about why you enjoyed Field Week, and if you want to go ahead and thank Alex and Cody, I won't stop you.

Great week, guys! Great week.
