Welcome to the 41st edition of the Bitmob Community Jukebox! In addition to the normal complement of awesome community-submitted tunes, I've decided to choose only songs from the Skate franchise this week. This is because I've been playing a lot of Skate 3 since the last Jukebox, and I think it has the best licensed-song soundtracks of all time. The creators didn't just go with the top-40 garbage that litters the Guitar Hero and Rock Band tracklists. They also didn't stick with the pointless, crappy pop-punk dross that litters the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater soundtracks. Instead, they actually managed to get to the licensing to some really incredible and influential bands.

On a lighter note, we've got some great songs from No More Heroes 2, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom, and Final Fantasy 5. Also, for the first time in Jukebox history, the pick of the week goes to two cowinners…weird.

Want to get in on the fun? All you have to do is hit the jump.

I've got three ways to get the music playin':

Method 1: Pick and Choose

Community Selections

1) Skate 3 — Disorder (by Joy Division)

2) Skate 2 — Death or Glory (by The Clash)

3) Skate 3 — Almost Ready (by Dinosaur Jr.)

4) Skate — Queen Bitch (by David Bowie)

5) Skate 3 — Debaser (by The Pixies)

6) Skate or Die 2: The Search for Double Trouble — Title Screen* suggested by Alex R. Cronk-Young

7) Jet Force Gemini — S.S. Anubis suggested by Matt Giguere

8) Capcom Vs. SNK — Sign suggested by Jimmy Flores

9) The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom — Circular Conclusions suggested by Bryan Glynn

10) Sonic CD — Wacky Workbench: Bad Future suggested by Ryan Conway

11) Power Stone — Dawnvolta Stage suggested by Chris Hoadley

12) Final Fantasy 5 — Beyond the Deep Blue Sea suggested by Chris Vasquez

13) The Impossible Game — Main Theme* suggested by Lance Darnell

14) No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle — Alice Twilight suggested by Eric Sapp

15) Red Dead Redemption — Far Away suggested by Alex Martin and Travis McReynolds (++good)

Method 3: I'm Tired of This Playlist

Tired of this week's Jukebox selections? Want to scope which classic songs other Bitmobbers have already nabbed? Then check out The Bitmob Community Jukebox Archive. Contributor Evan Killham created — and maintains — a comprehensive list of every song that the community and I have ever chosen.

With hundreds of tunes available in the Archive, you don't need to fret if this week's jams aren't to your taste. Just click the link, and the records keep on spinnin'!

For all you newcomers, here's how it works — I've got just two simple rules for submitting songs:

1) Songs from music games with original music and licensed songs from game soundtracks like Grand Theft Auto are OK. Submissions from games like Guitar Hero or Rock Band will not be accepted. Otherwise, this post may turn into a competition between people's favorite bands.

2) Only one submission response per person, per week.

When you've thought of a selection, put it in the comments below. And don't worry about the theme you see in the title of the post — I name each edition retroactively.

I will always try to find the official name of any song I use — whether it comes from myself or the community. If I am unable to verify a song's title, I will mark it with an asterisk (*).

Finally, if you'd like to win the Double-Plus Good Song of the Week (the weekly best of award), try to think of an obscure song or a song you think the community and I have overlooked in previous posts.

P.S. Thanks to everyone who helped out with the Mario special edition. Hope you're all enjoying Super Mario Galaxy 2 as much as I am!
