I got to see a lot of games at E3. I thought it would be fun to write a little bit about every single one of them. Note that I'm only including games that I either got to play or saw in demo form. Also note that this list is in alphabetical order.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood: I was skeptical of this one, but the multiplayer mode is really fun and unique.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow: It is a God of War clone, but it is a very pretty God of War clone.
Crysis 2: It's actually not as ridiculously good looking as I was expecting. I think I'm spoiled.
Dead Space 2: This looks gorgeous. It is — visually speaking — the best-looking game I saw at the show. This may do for Dead Space what Uncharted 2 did for its series.
Disney Sing It: Family Hits: According to the PR person standing next to me, I am awesome at this game.
DJ Hero 3D: This is a surprisingly great handheld interpretation of DJ Hero. Also, it's in 3D, which is always a nice touch.
Donkey Kong Country Returns: It's a very fun co-op game. It is also surprisingly challenging. Some of the motion controls need a little refinement.
Enslaved: Odyssey to the West: The game looks decent enough, but the demo was ridiculously long. I think Bitmob cofounder Demian Linn is qualified to review it after his session with it.
Epic Mickey: Anyone who knows me knows how much I'm looking forward to this one. Erasing and painting is a blast and easy to do. I noticed enough Disney references to make my brain explode.
Fable 3: I don't get it. I thought I was supposed to be a king or something in this game. Instead I just fought shadow creatures in a cave. It pretty much just seems like Fable 2 to me.
Gran Turismo 5: This is the most impressive 3D title I saw. The dashboard view blows my mind. It's the most realistic gaming experience I had at E3, for sure.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep: It plays exactly like Kingdom Hearts 2, which pleases me. The load times were ridiculous. Hopefully, the game will have the option for a data install.
Kirby's Epic Yarn: It's a beautiful-looking game. The demo is very simple. I hope the actual product is a little more challenging.
Kung Fu Rider: It's a PlayStation Move game where the player rides around in a shopping cart by jerking the controller around. I wasn't impressed.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword: The Wii Motion Plus controls work great for me. It's a lot of fun to exploit an enemy's weakness by swinging your sword in different directions. The new art style is nice but still not as beautiful as The Wind Waker.
LittleBigPlanet 2: It's an improvement over the original in every way imaginable. I can't wait to try my hand at the level creator.
Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds: It was my favorite demo on the floor. It is every bit as over-the-top as its predecessor.
Nail'd: This is a very arcadey motocross racer. It's like a much faster MotorStorm and has some potential.
NBA Jam: This was one of the most fun demos at E3. The Wii motion controls for dunking and shooting are surprisingly satisfying.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit: The social networking built into the game is really impressive. You can immediately see if someone on your friends list has beaten one of your high scores and then try to reclaim it.
Pac-Man Party: Do we really need this Mario Party clone? No.
Pilotwings Resort: I'm glad to see this franchise is back. It's very reminiscent of Pilot Wings 64.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned: This is surprisingly fun. It plays like Fable, but with, you know, more pirates.
Red Faction: Armageddon: This game has a gun that allows you to shoot one thing — say a boulder — and then send it smashing into anything else with a second shot. The destructible environments are awesome.
Rock Band 3: I got to play keyboards. Sadly, the song I played had very little keyboard in it.
The Shoot: This PlayStation Move game is basically an old-school arcade shooter. It's certainly fun, if not mind-blowing.
Sonic Colors: I had no idea what I was doing most of the time I played this. An adorable little girl apparently just played this game nonstop during the whole show, though. I guess that's the new Sonic audience.
Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1: Why does this game have a homing attack? That is not old school. Get that out of there!
Star Fox 64 3D: One of my favorite Nintendo 64 games, now with 3D. I'm a fan. Sadly, the controls aren't inverted.
TRON Evolution: Looks like Prince of Persia but with more blue. It has some surprisingly good production values for a movie-based game.
Twisted Metal: This is a joy to play. It immediately reminded me of the excellent Twisted Metal 2. I'm glad to see that the violence isn't toned down at all.
Two Worlds 2: The engine is impressive. Hopefully, the game rises above its somewhat generic fantasy setting.
WWE All Stars: This is like the NBA Jam of wrestling games. Everything is way over-the-top. It's a lot of fun to play, if not very deep.
