We have all played video games wherein the main character is either outrageously large, strong or just plain angry; so here is a list of the Top 5 Video Game Characters, which suffer from some serious cases of Roid Rage.

* Please Note there are videos with potential spoilers. You have been warned.

5. Batman

First Appearance: Batman (NES)

Most Recent Appearance: Batman: Arkham Asylum (360, PS3, PC)

The Steroid Effect: While Batman isn’t as crazy as Kratos, or as big as Chris, he definitely shows signs of roid rage from time to time. In his line of work he needs to make sure that he is big enough and strong enough to take on any crazy freaks who get in his way. Of course when you have steroid infused arms, like the ones found in Arkham Asylam, that tends to not be a problem. Batman hasn’t suffered from too many instances of roid rage but I think the one below shows that even Batman can lose it sometimes.

4. Sam Fisher

First Appearance: Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell (360, PS2, PC)

Most Recent Appearance: Tom Clancy’s Splinter cell Conviction (360)

The Steroid Effect: When we were first introduced to Sam Fisher in the original game, we were shown a character whose main focus was to evade enemies, remain as silent as possible and sneak through the darkness. Of course, when you take steroids all those actions get thrown out the door and instead you get a juiced up man who is faster, stronger and relentless in his pursuit. Sam’s roid rage is readily apparent in Conviction and it is obvious that whatever juice he is taking, is definitely affecting his actions.

3. Dante

First Appearance: Devil May Cry (PS2)

Most Recent Appearance: Devil May Cry 4 (360, PS3, PC)

The Steroid Effect: We all know that Dante is half demon but I think we also all know that he is definitely 100% crazy. While his strength and speed can be attributed to his demonic genes, his attitude definitely comes from his steroid addiction; roid rage afflicted throughout his career in gaming and definitely when it comes to him enjoying a nice slice of pizza.

 2. Chris Redfield

First Appearance: Resident Evil (PS1)

Most Recent Appearance: Resident evil 5 (360, PS3, PC)

The Steroid Effect: I think it’s clear from the picture that Chris has greatly benefited from the use of steroids. He is ten times bigger then he used to be, has developed an attitude and he topped it off by getting a tan as well.

 1. Kratos

First Appearance: God of War (PS2)

Most Recent Appearance: God of War 3(PS3)

The Steroid Effect: Kratos is a character who is a straight up vengeful son of a b****. From the first moment you meet him, to the finale of God of War 3, it is clear that Kratos is on some serious juice and suffers from a very serious case of roid rage. With so many instances of roid rage it’s hard to choose just one but I think the below case should suffice.
