In a recent study on the transgressions of youth violence and video games, researchers of Texas A & M International University conclude depression is a strong indicator of violence. In a study of mostly Hispanic youth from an American border-town, depression may strongly predict the level violent behavior they may show. Violence in entertainment media; video games, movies and television do not have a correlation with the rise of criminally violent acts within the group tested.

Dr. Christopher Ferguson from Texas A & M International University said, “The current study finds no evidence to support a long-term relationship between video game violence use and subsequent aggression.”

I’ll conclude, however, to be wary of emo pokemones Hispanic youth, especially traveling in huge groups. Be forewarn.
