Do you think I could pull off the white-hair look like the Witcher from the hit PC game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings?

News Blips: The Witcher 2 delayedNews Blips:

Developer CD Projekt RED delays The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for the Xbox 360 into 2012. In related news: Your PC-gaming friends continue to chortle at your cute little console. The team attributed the setback to a desire to polish up the RPG. Another contributing factor could be the fact that publisher Namco Bandai is suing the developer for removing DRM from the PC version. If you don’t know what DRM is because you are too busy paying for Xbox Live and dancing in PlayStation Home, well…it’s a…. You know what? Don’t even worry about it. PC-gaming is a dark, scary place. The social-gaming tycoons at Zynga are bringing Words with Friends to Facebook. This is one of those news items that I was surprised to find out wasn’t already a thing. Just look at the headline for this blip. Zynga makes “social games”…and where are titles like those typically found in nature? Facebook. Basically, the Scrabble-like game is what you already have on your smart phone…only now, on one of the Internet’s most-trafficked websites. Cross-platform play will be fully functional, so players on phone can play against new opponents on the social network. Have fun losing to your friends on Facebook who have a word descrambler open in another tab. [Joystiq]

Apple finally approved Final Fantasy Tactics for iPhone, and Square Enix hopes gamers will approve the $15.99 price. Currently, the Japanese publisher is shelling out digital copies of Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions for $9.99 on PSN, which is a bit incongruent with the newly released iOS version’s price. See, I would understand a $3.00 increase to compensate for the 30 percent Apple takes off the top, but it seems that they combined the Apple tax with the Squenix tax to create a hybrid creature that feasts upon credit cards. The mad men responsible for the Humble Indie Bundle have added Steel Storm: Burning Retribution — now will you buy it? Hey, do you have $4.72 in your pocket? If you do, then you have the amount that the average person paid for the five indie games available in the Humble Indie Bundle. Except now, five has become six. Steel Storm is a top-down shooter, and while it may not set the world on fire, it is a nice addition to an already good deal. As always, check humblebundle.com.
