Demon Souls is, without a doubt, the under-the-radar game of the industries back end. The hardcore fans have taken notice, but there is still a lack of buzz with the run of the mill average Joe. With all of the scheduled releases this final quarter, from the Vita, Diablo III Beta testing, Batman: Arkham Asylum 2, to the recently released Gears of War 3, the sequel one of the hardest games ever could easily get overlooked by bigger named titles.
Do not miss this game.
It will be beautiful, it will be brutal, and it will be unforgiving. Bosses will smash you in a single blow. Traps will spring from the shadows. Enemies will ambush you, every chance they get.
You will shake your head, smile, and say, "Touche Dark Souls. Touche." But you will press on. You will conquer obstacles of all shapes and sizes; and you will become a better person for it! Well, you'll definitely feel a sense of accomplishment, anyway.
