While Battlefield 3 has sold over 5 million copies since it was released on October 25, Xbox Live Director of Programming "Major Nelson" revealed that EA's military first-person shooter has less player activity on Xbox Live than either Call of Duty: Black Ops or Modern Warfare 2. I wonder what will happen when Modern Warfare 3 launches later this month….

Konami’s survival-horror series, Silent Hill, gets three new games in 2012. Silent Hill HD Collection (Xbox 360, PS3) includes remastered versions of Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3, Silent Hill: Book of Memories brings co-op gameplay to the PS Vita, and Silent Hill: Downpour floods the PS3 and Xbox 360 sometime in March.
