Do you love video game music? Don't have a lot of cash to plunk down on the pricey gaming album of your choice? You're not alone! Every month albums of some of our favorite gaming tracks (and some original soundtracks) are released over the wide expanse of the Internet, just a few clicks away for your listening pleasure… and best of all, they're free! While November might have been a slow month for freebie music, there are some awesome albums nevertheless, so read on to help find your musical fix!
Sonic Spinball NES Arrange OST
This album is a little interesting; The artist (Daniel White) took the original soundtrack to the Genesis Sonic Spinball, and arranged it using an the sounds of the NES. It might sound like blasphemy for purists (Sonic sounds on an NES!?), but the Genesis sound chip is known for being pretty bad, so the tracks being arranged with a better sound chip might earn more fans of the music.

Umemoto ~He Lives Here~
I'm going to be completely honest here: I'm not sure what game songs are being remixed here. The "Products Represented" area of the VGMdb doesn't help, and the artist's website is in Japanese. Regardless, this is the second volume of remixed music by this artist, so if you're looking for some new tracks that you probably haven't heard, this is the album of the month to download!

Bionis By Night
This album has an interesting story to it. Shiryu, whom you might remember from past articles for his free Shiryu-Shiryu Arcade albums, participated in a video contest for Nintendo Europe's Xenoblade Chronicles. While he could have used tracks from the game itself, he instead decided to compose his own soundtrack for the video, and this album is the result of it. As you might expect, it's a bit of a different style than his arcade albums, but it's a good listen nevertheless.

Herbert the misanthropical fly
Remixes
Herbert the misanthropical fly is a game for the iOS, so unless you have an iSomething you might not of have heard of this game. It's a simple 'kill everything that flies by' game, but the lovely art style and the low price (only a dollar!) makes the game worth checking out. This is not the game's original soundtrack (which can also be downloaded for free), but an album of remixed music from the game. It's worth a listen, though you might want to download the OST first so you know the source of the remixes!

25YEARLEGEND: A Legend of
Zelda Indie Game Composer
Tribute
Every month or so, OCRemix comes out with a new album that their community has contributed to. This month, they decided to do a remix of some favorite Zelda tracks for the series' 25th anniversary. Unlike the Link's Awakening soundtrack that came before it, this album grabs great tracks from the entire series, providing a better range of the series' sound history. As par OCRemix's standards, the album is pretty high quality, and always worth a download.
Sample Tracks: Zelda's First Trip to the "Village", Labyrinth of Dance Floors

Oldie But Still A Freebie!
Pokemon: The Missingno Tracks
This month's Oldie is another arranged track from OCRemix. Released March of this year (right around the time Pokemon Black and White were released in America), this album features a lot of remixed Pokemon tracks. It's full of remixed tracks from the first and second Pokemon generations, so it'll be nostalgia ahoy for old fans. There's also some remixed versions of newer tracks as well, so you can listen to some of the series' newer music too. Believe it or not, the Pokemon series has some awesome music, and this album helps shows that fact.
Sample Tracks: Shades of Red, Home is Where the Luvdisc is
