There are so many fighting games coming out next spring. Street Fighter X Tekken, BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend, Soul Calibur 5, and now Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 for the Vita are all going to leave my wallet dry. Not to mention that I have to buy a $250 Vita for the latter!

Video Blips:

• Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 shows us that touching the screen is perfectly viable to perform outrageous combos. Great. As if purists haven't given the game's fighting system enough flack, now they can say that you can simply roll your face on the PS Vita to win.

Hit the break to see if Alan Wake's American Nightmare is still heavily based on story, free-to-play games like Black Prophecy are worth your time, and why you need to spend one dollar on Groove Coaster.

• Alan Wake's American Nightmare is going to be a loud game. While we've only seen a little gameplay at this point, I sure hope that the end product is just as story-driven as its predecessor.

• Black Prophecy gains a new expansion that raises the level cap and introduces many more features. Best of all, it's free-to-play. If you're really into Jedis but still love space battles, then you'll probably want to check out this game out.

• Groove Coaster gets an update for the holidays with five new playable songs. If you haven't proven to your family that you're a complete technophile, then whip out your iPhone, or better yet your iPad, during Christmas dinner and play classics like Jingle Bells for them to sing along to!
