Gotham City Impostors shouldn't exist, a Batman game without Batman? It's a 6 vs 6 Multiplayer game about people dressed up as Batman or Jokers shooting each other……I don't know how such a game came to be but I am very happy it exists.

This game has a lot of things going for it, its cheap, download only and borrows from one of the best superhero universes ever. It's fast, chaotic and gives you so many lovely different ways to cause mayhem. Borrowing from the Call of Duty style of customization and leveling up. The more you play, the more you unlock like new weapons, mods and gadgets. You also get costume coins to customize your character, with some hilarious results I might add. I can't help but smile a little, when I got gunned down by some chubby dude wearing a Batman mask made out of a cardboard. The weapons and abilities you unlock are another added spice to the chaos you see on the battlefield. From grappling hooks, to samurai swords and bear traps. You will defiantly find something you like, to use on the poor fools that cross your path online.

You really end up feeling like a bunch of regular Joe's running around trying to be the next Batman or Joker. Graphics are good and have a very Team Fortress 2 style to them. It controls like COD but I turned off the head bob to the game because it was starting to get me dizzy from all the running around and flying I was doing. Modes of play are your typical Deathmatch, capture the flag and control points. Of course with a Gotham City Impostors twist to them, the capture the flag mode aka Psychological Warfare has both teams fighting to plug in a battery at their base. Once done they have to defend it long enough that it starts their brain washing machine and makes the other team into slap happy drones. This game just oozes with humor and style, its really hard not to love it.

I was really worried about this game being supported post launch but literally 2 weeks later. Monolith released a new map, weapons and costumes for free, I defiantly can't wait to see what else they come up with. This game has got me hooked, from its fun and chaotic game-play to its hilarious art style. I think I'll be causing mayhem on the streets of Gotham for months to come or until the real Batman finally shows up.
