Broken SwordIf you need a new way to tell the world that you’re a gamer, online T-shirt retailer Shirt.Woot is having a sale on nerdy apparel. Though the company usually sells each shirt design for one-day-only periods, they’re bringing out some old video game-inspired prints for their Arcade Attire promotion. It runs through Sunday, March 18.

Interestingly, the aesthetics on the site are a little wonky. They use the Grand Theft Auto typeface for the title even though they don’t have any items inspired by the famous, violent franchise. The majority of the designs just bank off of Nintendo nostalgia. Plus, whoever wrote up the campaign’s description used the dated stereotype of gamers playing in the basement, which makes me groan and not want to bust out my wallet.

If you can get past some of the vague references on the site and prints (hey, they don’t want to get sued), you might find a shirt, hoodie, or poster that fits your style. As for me, I’ll pass. I’ve already accumulated more video game tees than I could ever wear.
