The American Revolution, a galaxy far, far away, Toontown — the beauty of video games is that they can take you anywhere. Unlike books and cinema, though, you can actually interact with your surroundings.

Video Blips:

• Assassin's Creed 3 will take place during the American Revolution, and protagonist Connor will be sporting the appropriate weapons to take on his foes. Considering the futuristic theme taken with this video, it seems Ubisoft isn't trying to hide the spoiler of Assassin's Creed as it once did.

Continue after the break to see people going nuts for Kinect Star Wars, Pit taking on Medusa in Kid Icarus Uprising, and an old friend taking on new challenges in Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two.

• Kinect Star Wars is the answer to everyone who just needs to get all the Force out of their system. I hope that if I pick this game up, I will stop pretending I'm a Jedi when I walk up to an automatic door.

• After years of speculation, doubt, and confusion, Kid Icarus Uprising is finally here. That's one Nintendo franchise down. Now, where's my Pikmin 3?

• Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two has been announced! I'm more excited that it won't be a Wii exclusive. Okami was excellent without motion controls; I expect no less from Epic Mickey.
