My girlfriend has left me alone for a few days while she does business and makes money. The room in my home that I'm in right now smells like a Taco Bell Doritios Locos Taco Supreme and farts as a result of Taco Bell Doritios Taco Supreme.
News Blips:
Nintendo’s next console, the Wii U, will reportedly launch November 18. Website Wii U Daily has discovered an internal memo from Japanese-retailer Media Land. Said memo specifies that the console will hit North American retailers on that Sunday in mid-November. A Japanese release would follow a week later. GamesBeat reached out to the Kyoto-based manufacturer who responded with the familiar, “Nintendo does not comment on rumor or speculation.”
Publisher of printed works Dark Horse Comics announces a Portal 2 artbook. Open those portals you call your eyes to suck down 184 pages of "mostly" never-before-seen designs and concept art. Warning: some of the pages will contain words from the Portal 2 writers and artists who insist on providing insight to the images. The Art of Portal 2 will be coffee-table ready on October 31.
Some of the games created at this past weekend’s “What Would Molydeux?” gamejam are beginning to show up online. A gamejam is when developers, designers, and all-around creators build a title from scratch over the course of a weekend (or sometimes longer). The Molyjam — as it’s known on the streets — takes that concept and applies the concepts originally tweeted by the Peter Molyneux parody Twitter account @PeterMolydeux. For example, below is a video of Friends ‘til the End which was created during the gameboree and was based on this tweet: “You play as a small boy with a remote control helicopter that is alive and your friend, then you discover a nuclear missle (sic) inside it.”
