How many of us get annoyed at Gamestop or any store who offers presales to you?  Now, how many wish they did buy the presale to that particular game?  As some gamers may look forward to digital download to replace this system, getting a presale may still be a good consideration to take in.  Recently, RE6, NBA2K13, Madden, and other Fall and Holiday releases have been offered for reserved.  People believe that it will be available everywhere when it's release but to their dismay, it will be a long time for them to be replenish.

Reason I bring this up is that some stores don’t have Pokemon Conquest.  It sounds good for sales but not for retail.  Of course, online ordering can fix that, but some people hate paying for shipping.  Even with deals going on for that game, they hate it.

Presales can fix all that.  Not only will you have a guarantee fresh 1st edition of the game, but sometimes there are nice swag  that comes with it.  Amazon sometimes offer discounts and special deals for your next order on their site when you preorder while Gamestop may offer a cd, art book, and other items.

With Skylanders Giants coming out, Toy’s R Us offer a guarantee of getting a skylander character of your choice (but that depends on what characters they release).  You still have to buy the character but at least it’s available and up to the consumer which one they want.

Specially with Atlus games for example.  Not many stores carry them and when they sell, well, good luck finding them available (and some might say Best Buy is the place to go).  Niche titles are, for one, very limited and really don’t offer a Digital Download.  If they do, it might be months down the road (or even years).

So as summer gaming is almost coming to a close, getting ready for Borderlands 2 or even something for the 3DS would be great if you preorder it.  That way, you have your copy without all the Carmen San Diego searching.

There’s always Amazon too.
