It just came out today that Titanfall, the critically acclaimed game by Respawn Entertainment, will in fact be an Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC exclusive for the life of the title.  This means Sony fans won’t be calling in their Titan when the title drops on March 11.

It should be noted that this was not a decision made by Respawn Entertainment.  In fact, Vince Zampella, the studio’s boss, was amongst those who were surprised by the deal made by EA Games and Microsoft to retain exclusivity on Microsoft platforms.  This is a huge blow for any Playstation fans who were expecting Titanfall to make its way over to the PS4 in the future.

Although Playstation fans won’t be seeing Titanfall initially, Vince Zampella has alluded to there being future Titanfall games on Sony platforms.  Until then, purchasing an Xbox One probably just became a lot more tempting for a lot of people.
