Hong Kong – Wan Chai/Aberdeen

Hong Kong is an amazing city, and truth be told Ryo doesn’t visit much of the cooler spots. This was my first visit to the island, and I had a great time — made all the better by retracing the steps of our hero himself!

There is a bunch of Hong Kong skyline shots a thousand times better than mine, and I like to get close as it is anyway. But here are a few shots around the Aberdeen area. It’s heavily urbanized, and by the looks of it, what used to be a small town of small junk boats is now significantly smaller — but still active.

Cool shot of Aberdeen with one of the boat people.

I am not winning any wet T-shirt contests.

Junk boat.

Where Wong from Shenmue would live.

Warehouse: No arm-wrestling, but there are some guys playing cards. No, I did not join them.
